Sarah Riccio ditched her traditional 9-to-5 to become a professional sex toy tester, a little-known odd job that remedied the 34-year-old’s dissatisfaction with a normal office workplace. In the headlines on #ThUpdate this Monday, Praise God — especially when you’re under federal indictment. Mayor Eric Adams solicited prayers from the city’s faithful during back-to-back church visits, defiantly vowing not to resign and instead claiming, “I’m going to reign” — two days after he was arraigned on sweeping federal corruption charges. Meanwhile, “Saturday Night Live” poked fun at Mayor Adams and his historic legal problems — joking that it all stems from him wanting to turn the Big Apple into a “swag-tropolis.” Elsewhere, a stretch of aqueduct that supplies about half of New York City’s water is being shut down through the winter as part of a $2 billion project to address massive leaks beneath the Hudson River. And in Decision 2024, Republican JD Vance and Democrat Tim Walz will meet tomorrow in the lone vice presidential debate of the 2024 election, bringing together undercards who have spent two months going after each other and the opposing nominees who top the major-party tickets.
