Georgi Stoychev, a Bulgarian ultra cyclist, set a new WUCA Cross State Record traversing from South to North across the state of Maryland on the East Coast of the United States. In an official time of 7h 25m, Georgi averaged 18.7 mph after battling strong winds and gusts up to 25 mph from the very start of his ride. It was a beautiful route with an awesome support team, and an end result that Georgi can absolutely be proud of for years to come.
