Russia rules out peace talks as Ukraine claims advances

Russian President Vladimir Putin says there can't be any talks with Ukraine after its attack on Russia's Kursk region, while Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy calls Kremlin threats of retaliation a bluff. U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken meets Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and he says the prime minister has accepted a new proposal for a ceasefire in Gaza and the release of hostages.
