In this episode, I'm talking with Kay Suthar, a Business Strategist, Award Winning Author and Professional Speaker - as well as a podcast host and podcast marketing agent.
Kay started off life wanting to be a superhero which, in the real world, led her to join the police force. Health issues forced her to retire at which point an opportunity arose to move into politics, helping with election campaigns. From there, events, sales and marketing became the focus and a position in Costa Rica appeared – and disappeared the moment she arrived - leaving her stuck in the country with no job, no home and no money !!
Kay's story demonstrates her natural problem solving skills, her adaptability and her underlying drive and determination.
In our conversation we discuss such topics as:
- the importance of taking action in difficult situations;
- how we've been misled to believe that stress is 'part of the job'; and
- the critical difference between Advice and Opinion.
