Anthony Garcia joins us to get into the nitty gritty aspects of nostalgia, such as how we are perhaps longing to relive nostalgic moments, and how we look back on nostalgic experiences as a form of coping with the craziness of our modern world. Nostalgia reminds us of a simpler time. And times are not very simple currently. The times we have lived through in the contemporary U.S. have traumatized us deeply, and collectively we all have bonded through that trauma. As the ratio between fear & reason continues to grow increasingly unequal, we find ourselves aboard the systemic machine that will do our reasoning for us.
