On this week's edition of the Smart Marks of Wrestling Podcast, we talk Jericho winning then losing the AEW Title, Ric Flair issues, and Bayley's turn.
This week, there was no shortage of interesting stories in professional wrestling. Off the heels of a strong AEW pay-per-view that saw Chris Jericho crowned the first-ever AEW World Champion, he lost the title days later when he was eating dinner. The Internet went nuts with the story, not sure if it was a shoot or a work.
Also, Ric Flair is apparently suing WWE over the trademark "The Man". He believes he has a right to the phrase and wants to be compensated every time Becky Lynch refers to herself that way.
Finally, Brandon and Jim review Raw and SmackDown Live which was highlighted by a Bayley heel turn, King of the Ring shenanigans and more. Will the winner be the first big star to take a spot on the new Raw and SmackDown shows once WWE holds and another roster draft?
