Since the Texas Chainsaw Massacre series came in second in our recent franchise poll (which Nightmare on Elm Street won) we thought it would be fun to do a couple minisodes on collaborations between TCM director Tobe Hooper and actor Robert Englund. With Hooper directing the pilot episode of the Freddy's Nightmares television show, we thought it would be a great place to start! As the episode title indicates, the resulting recording did not go the way we expected. But we think it's a very fun conversation, particularly for long-time listeners.
