The peak body for regional health care is warning a lack of access to childcare in the bush might deter people from taking up health related jobs..

The Rural Doctors Association's survey shows nearly 70 percent of health care workers make career decisions based on the availability of childcare.

Rural Editor Emily Minney spoke with Chief Executive Peta Rutherford about the concerns.
