Detectives Yawk and Pupi question Homey Homestead, who is still clinging to life; but Yawk finds it hard to focus on Homey when Pupi has clearly undergone an important change. Meanwhile, a half-paralyzed Angelique crawls through the hospital corridor, trying to escape, and meets a half-poisoned Ted Woffelle crawling from the other direction.
