Penguins insider Rob Rossi from The Athletic joined the show. Rob tried to explain an odd trade the Penguins made today with the St. Louis Blues by just exchanging a few draft picks. Rob talked about the transient value that there is with some of the mid-late round picks in the NHL Draft. Rob gave an update on the latest with Sidney Crosby and a pending contract extension – saying it all comes down to how much longer Sid wants to play. Rob isn’t worried about a deal getting done, but he will have some questions if the Penguins get into training camp, in about a month, and the deal is not made.
