On this episode, I open with the news of Trump pleading guilty in the Georgia election case. There is also reporting that Republicans in the state are seeking to remove DA Fanni Willis from office, and seeking to reinstate pardon powers in the Governor in the hypothetical event of a conviction. Finally, a dangerous scenario involving a federal-state showdown between a potentially victorious 2024 Trump not adhering to a state conviction that could plunge the country into a constitutional crisis. I spoke with California DNC Member David Atkins. We speak about democracy, the Republican party, overt assaults on the judicial system, the 2024 election, and more.
