Yes, Marvel's own vampire hunter and day-walker went from obscure background character in Tomb of Dracula to perennial superstar as one of the first Marvel comic book characters to make a splash on the big screen. In the years since the human/vampire hybrid has grown in stature with appearances in multiple titles including his own.
