Today on the Podcast we have Alex Old a multi-disciplinary artist, who transitioned from civil engineering to the art world in 2020 despite having no prior experience painting. Continuously pushing himself, his art and life reflect the notion of straying from one's comfort zone. Using nostalgia and humour to evoke inspired dreamscapes, he creates painted illustrations which are juxtaposed by a smooth, print-like finish. The surreal images remind the artist and the viewer that at any age, a man can still dream.
