Todays guest is historian, research director and author John Foot.

John's responsible for arguably the greatest Italian football book in English, 'Calcio. The History of Italian Football' as well as other titles such as 'Pedalare! Pedalare! The History of Italian Cycling' and the recently released 'Blood and Power. The Rise and Fall of Italian Fascism'.

This was an early morning chat before coffee so apologies if we got a World Cup year or two wrong.
