There are three main barriers to collaboration:

👉HIERARCHY If your organization is built like a pyramid where information has to flow bottom-up or top-down, it won't do well with collaboration.

👉FEAR Part of collaboration means speaking up and having confidence in yourself. Sometimes employees are scared, which keeps them from really collaborating or communicating effectively.

👉 OVER-COLLABORATION This occurs when you need to get someone else's input for every idea and every small thing you're trying to do. Over-collaboration is just as harmful as not collaborating.
