Let's gather around the campfire and discuss our favorite urban legends and ghost stories. Mine happens to be about the escaped inmate from the local mental instituion. You know the one? Right over the hill? Gather close and listen to the legend of -- The Hookman.

This week, I will be discussing the history of campfire stories, telling the story of the Hookman from 1950s urban legends and showcasing the history of the Texarkana Murders, their influence on the legends and howother hook handed villains have frightened and terrorized for centuries.
