Fresh out of lockdown, the Bayside Bubble is back.

This week we are joined by Denise, Edwina and Jean, from our new favourite store, Buttonmania. If you are unfamiliar with the business, Buttonmania can be found in Highett and has the most beautiful assortment of low to high-end vintage buttons and buckles.

A family owned business, Denise and her daughters sit down with us to talk about what they do, the surprising impact of lockdown, and (arguably the biggest draw to the store) their young puppy, Leon.

We discuss this niche trade that has led to orders from overseas, for television shows and by designers. We can’t help but to request some of our own.

Denise, Edwina and Jean share the heartwarming story of how a joking comment about buying the business turned into a family passion project.
