**Meet Our Guest: Fern Brady**

Fern is the founder and CEO of Inklings Publishing. She has a remarkable background as a foreign correspondent and a dedicated educator for 15 years in Alief ISD. An accomplished author, she has published numerous short stories, two delightful children's picture books, and a collection of poems.

Thyrein's Love's debut novel, **United Vidden**, the first in Thyrein’s Galactic Wall Series, received rave reviews from Dr. Who Online! Her latest release, **Love’s Call**, is the first book in The Dragon and His Kitten series, launched in 2023. Fern is also collaborating on a graphic novel, **Mr. Landen's Library**, with the talented Rosa Maria Garza.

Having returned to lead the Houston Writers Guild, where she served as CEO for four years, Fern is also a full-time teacher at Cy-Fair ISD.
