SEBI Directs PMS Providers To Disclose All Assets And Schemes

SEBI has directed the Portfolio Management Service Providers to disclose all details related to Assets Under Management(AUM), number of clients,

Securities Exchange Board of India (SEBI) asked some of them to disclose details related to various schemes as of February 28, 2022, and compare the portfolios of clients on division among various investment approaches as well as details of clients who are not covered under any investment approach.

SEBI is yet to disclose why exactly does the regulatory body want this data all of a sudden. But it has been made clear to PMS houses to adhere to this demand of SEBI at the earliest.

If this data is revealed to SEBI then there are chances that several high profile investors might come under scrutiny, which high include politicians, bankers, HNIs, and even celebrities.
