Insider Trading Rule Of SEBI Violated Yet Again!

Mannapuram Financial Limited or MFL has been accused and caught of violating the Insider Trading Rules of SEBI.

Markets regulator SEBI has penalized an individual for procuring unpublished price-sensitive information related to the financial results of MFL and communicating the same through a research report.

The regulator levied a fine of Rs 15 lakh on one Mr. Pankaj, according to a Sebi order.

In two separate orders, the Securities and Exchange Board of India (Sebi) on Wednesday slapped a fine of Rs 1 lakh each on Bankri Rudraswamy Prasanna Kumar and Shashwat Kumar Gupta for flouting insider rules in the matter of Mindtree.
