CITY BEAT RADIO INFO
Citybeat were awarded a licence to broadcast to Belfast in 1990.
They first appeared under the name BCR – Belfast Community Radio – in March 1990,
but by 1996 they had changed name under the new ownership of Owen Royston.
Programmes are aimed at 25-49 year olds. Citybeat rebranded to Q Radio on August 9th 2015.
Citybeat is a Northern Irish radio station located in Belfast.
It was founded in 1996 and broadcasts all over Northern Ireland.
The station and its presenters won several awards over the years.
Its schedule includes music, sports, news and information.
