What a game it has been. It has been a monumental, incredible and a historic result at the Nahyan Stadium at Abu Dhabi. 55 years ago India last won a match in the AFC Asian Cup after that they drew with the Iranian side in 1984. Now, the result it here after the intense hardwork they put in the training ground. A fitter, faster and clever Indian team came into this tournament and the results are clear. It was a mental game going into the second half with 1-1 score then Chhetri, Anirudh Thapa and Jeje Lalpekhula scoring and taking their fair share in this historic day of Indian Football. But, it's just the beginning as India has challenges bigger and stiffer as they'll be facing the hosts, UAE on 10th followed by Bahrain on 14th.
