He is the author of 52 novels, 16 short story collections, 28 graphic novels, 170 short stories, 14 nonfiction books, and has edited 26 anthologies. He has written comics for Marvel, IDW, Dark Horse, and others, and Black Panther: Wakanda Forever is based in part on his 2009-10 run on the comic.
