Sherva and Karen do another tomato tasting in this podcast episode. We find that we're a little disappointed in the taste of some varieties of heirloom tomatoes sometimes, mostly because our expectations aren't met.
But when you step back and think about it, homegrown tomatoes are ALWAYS better than grocery store tomatoes. Even when your expectations aren't met.
They taste like tomatoes should, not like tasteless red blobs.
