Future Wave is a collaborative project between So Future and New Wave serving as a dedicated platform to showcase the evolution and diversity of Electronic music, with a special focus on finding and amplifying talented emerging DJs and well-seasoned established talent alike. Future Wave seeks to fill the gap in opportunities specifically for Black talent in the Electronic music scene by creating space for them both online and IRL. This mix from PDR was delivered as part of the B2B set featured at our Shoreditch House x Future Wave event held in November 2023. 🔌 Hailing from Equatorial Guinea and raised in Spain, @pedrinedu's sonic journey is a vibrant fusion of rock, Latin, and African influences. His music, a unique blend of electronic and African rhythms, pulsates with the energy of underground house. With a knack for reimagining dance classics and infusing them with funky, percussive beats and amapiano hybrids, PDR crafts a mesmerising representation of black electronic music through his Future Wave set at Shoreditch .
