Shah Abdul Latif Bhittai' is the foremost poet of the Sindhi language. His poetry is of exceptional quality. He has presented Sindhi folk tales in poetic form in the "Shah Jo Risalo" through melodies. The Sindhi folk tales include Suhini Mehar, Sassui Punhoon, Leela Chanesar, Moomal Rano, Umar Marvi, Noori Jaam Tamachi, and Sorath Rai Diyach.
