12: The General Union of Palestinian Women

In this episode Hazel and Nicole interview Nadia Tweir from the General Union of Palestinian Women, in the city of Tulkarem in the North of the West Bank. Nadia has been involved in women's organising her entire life, and gives us a deep insight into decades of Palestinian women's resistance.

Because of the length of the interview this edit only includes the English language version, as translated by our comrade in her office - so unfortunately we don't really hear Nadia's voice in this recording. Watch out - however - for an Arabic language version of this interview.

We also apologise for some of the sound quality during the interview, which is not great for a few different reasons. We hope that you will still be able to appreciate the breadth of experience of which Nadia describes in the interview.
