On today’s show, the convergence of my 3 favorite sports is here, at a time of the year I like to call the sports eclipse. The NFL season is coming off of a fantastic Week 7, with some big time matchups that ended up resulting in a few barnburners, as the Lions upset the previously undefeated Vikings in Minnesota and take over 1st place in the NFC North & the Packers make a statement vs the Texans as they come back late for the W. Plus, Washington, Baltimore and KC keep winning, the Jets keep losing, and Cincinnati finally seems to have righted the ship. And the injuries…Meanwhile, the World Series matchup is set and, while some may call me a hater, regardless of how much MLB loves the big market representatives, I find myself unable to root for either evil empire team. And here we go, as the NBA on TNT tips off another (and their final?) hoops season tonite as we wrap up our season previews out West.
