Episode 3’s guest is musician, showman and horror aficionado SPENCER CHARNAS, front man and mastermind behind the band ICE NINE KILLS. Hailed as “one of the most unique acts in metal right now,” the band’s growing legion of devoted "psychos", popular high-concept horror-themed videos, and interactive theatrical shows, has them playing alongside Metallica on their latest US tour, and selling out venues nationwide.

In this episode…Spencer talks about one of his greatest fears - flying - and some scary incidents he has encountered in the air. We get an exclusive telling of his mild air-rage incident that nearly turned into the worst kind of trouble for him. Catherine recounts her terror of roller-coasters, which may or may not derive from the FINAL DESTINATION movies. And how her dog Luna may or may not be a bit of an a-hole!

We find out the scary movies - known and not so well-known - that shaped Spencer into a huge horror fan, and his favorite horror franchise. Plus the pros and cons of guys going 'full tuck’ on-screen.

We discuss Spencer’s childhood toy, and small kids who play with horror toys. Spencer talks music - and lack of music - to create suspense in movies, about seeing young kids and babies at Ice Nine Kills gigs - what not to write in an autograph to a pregnant woman, and his reasoning behind launching a horror convention of his own.

Finally, in this week’s Side Barb, we play a game specially written by Catherine for our rock star guest, and Spencer reveals a talent for accents and impressions!
