It's the night of the community pot luck and as Clodagh, Grace, Trep and Aster make their own ways to the Root; the hub of the community at the Grove, it seems that something ominous hangs in the air for each of them. Aster's mind is elsewhere as he ponders a dark reading, Grace finds her guilt gnawing, Clodagh's anxiety spills over and Trep... Trep falls in the river again! With nowhere to hide; they all have to face each other...
