So you’ve had a bad day. Yuck. This episode is your survival and revival guide to a bad day.
This week’s Inspire Me quote is from Soren Kierkegaard:
“Life is not a problem to be solved, but a reality to be experienced.”
In this episode, Leary and Armin discuss those bad day blues and how to keep a bad day from getting worse. They suggest taking five steps:
- Express. Acknowledge what’s happened by talking it out with a good listener; or journal about it. What’s your blocked goal?
- Lesson. Find what the situation might teach you.
- Reframe. Identify and reframe your expectations.
- Protect. Protect your most important relationships from a bad-day spillover.
- Redeem. Determine what steps you can take to redeem a bad day.
