Music Masla - A Spicy Blend of Music and Life is an exciting Radio 4EB project! Over a period of six months, project staff spent days traipsing around south-east Queensland, discovering not just the music, but the passions and lifestyles of 11 culturally diverse artists.
Menaka Thomas is an Australian born Indian Devotional Singer who comes from a musical lineage. Her music blends Indian traditional music with contemporary and other world music influences. The song “Madhura Meenakshi” pays homage to the Divine Mother, “Meenakshi”, whose brilliant eyes are full of care and compassion for all.
