Hive Digital Technologies Executive Chairman Frank Holmes joined Steve Darling from Proactive to share news of another major operational milestone as the Company has now surpassed 16 exahash per second (EH/s) of global Bitcoin mining hashrate. This achievement marks a key step in HIVE’s fully funded expansion plan to reach 25 EH/s by U.S. Thanksgiving 2025. Each exahash deployed directly contributes to daily Bitcoin production and revenue. Holmes highlighted that Bitcoin mining economics are transparent and mathematically determined, with data available through the Bitcoin blockchain and public block explorers. With disciplined capital allocation and access to low-cost energy sources, HIVE continues to translate scaling into predictable cash flow. The impact of this expansion is already visible. HIVE’s daily Bitcoin output has now climbed to more than 8 BTC, doubling production since May 2025. A major driver of this growth is the deployment of over 5 EH/s of next-generation Bitmain S21+ Hydro miners at Phase 2 of the Company’s Yguazú facility in Paraguay. Holmes credited the efforts of Country President of Paraguay Operations, Gabriel Lamas, and his team, who are working around the clock to install new miners as shipments continue to arrive weekly. Looking ahead, HIVE plans to commence deployment at its Phase 3 Valenzuela site in September, representing the final stage of its expansion pathway. Upon completion, the Company projects daily production to reach 12 BTC per day, with a global fleet efficiency of approximately 17.5 J/TH. At that point, HIVE expects to represent nearly 3% of global Bitcoin supply at current network difficulty, underscoring its growing presence as a top-tier player in the industry. Holmes emphasized that the Company’s scaling strategy not only demonstrates the benefits of operational efficiency and energy optimization but also highlights the value of investing in the latest generation ASIC miners. By generating more hashrate per joule of energy consumed, HIVE is enhancing unit economics—achieving higher output without proportional increases in labor or overhead costs.
