Having brokered a 'surrender with benefits' with Pirate Captain Karst, the Chimera heads back in-system to the secret Jihun station. Their mission: use Karst's crew to help take the station; gut it for information on what the Jihun are up to; and leave Karst in possession. There's a careful plan; two successful breaches; body parts and gunfire. Then ... a high-G pursuit, viral test subjects, moral dilemmas ... and what may turn out to be Chekov's pen set ...
