NFL annual meetings check in: Kevin Stefanski talks Deshaun Watson's recovery, Mike Vrabel's hiring and more

The biggest question for the Browns this offseason is how Deshaun Watson's recovery is going following his season-ending shoulder surgery, so that's of course a big topic for the team as the NFL annual meetings take place in Orlando.

On this episode of the Orange and Brown Talk Podcast Mary Kay Cabot checks in from those meetings with Ashley Bastock to recap everything head coach Kevin Stefanski said on Monday.

The two talk about Watson's recovery, as well as what Stefanski had to say about the meeting between himself, the quarterback, and new offensive coordinator Ken Dorsey out in L.A. They also discuss Watson beginning to throw, and what this might all mean for his timeline to return.

Stefanski still not providing an answer on playcalling duties is another topic of discussion.

Mike Vrabel's hiring also came up on Monday, and Mary Kay and Ashley discuss why he will be such a great resource for the Browns.

The two touch on the other big player who suffered a season-ending injury, talking the latest on Nick Chubb rehabbing from the gruesome knee injury that ended his 2023 campaign in Week 2.

Finally, Mary Kay previews what Browns owners Jimmy and Dee Haslam will get asked on Monday evening.
