The FBI and local law enforcement are investigating two ballot drop boxes that were set on fire in Portland, Oregon, and nearby Vancouver, Washington. The fires destroyed hundreds of ballots, and authorities said they are connected.

Vice President Kamala Harris visited a semiconductor facility in Michigan and will rally in Ann Arbor with her running mate Tim Walz. Former President Donald Trump has two events in Georgia, one with the National Faith Advisory Board and the other a rally in Atlanta.

Israeli forces said they raided a hospital in the northern Gaza Strip and detained about 100 suspected Hamas terrorists during the operation. This came after Israel launched a retaliatory strike on Iran’s military sites over the weekend.

The Pentagon confirmed that at least 10,000 North Korean troops are training in Russia to fight Ukraine. Meanwhile, Ukraine reported at least five deaths from the latest round of Russian airstrikes on Ukrainian cities.
