This week we go over how marketing and money behind bands can go on to manipulate sales numbers for their albums, number placement on billboards and how it has caused many other bands to be pushed to the side due to the amount of money that goes into some big named bands releases. We use Metallica and Overkill as a main example for the episode, Metallica recently released their 12th studio album "72 Seasons" on April 14th and Overkill released their 20th studio album "Scorched" on the same date, but the sales were astronomically different between the two bands and among Metallica and their contemporaries.
