In 2015, MIIA took the world by storm with her single «Dynasty», premiering on Billboard and placing in the most recognized international hit lists. Today, she has more than 120 million streams on Spotify, though, after years of digging deep into her soul and reconnecting with her roots to find the artist she was meant to be, MIIA is soon revealing new music. The debut EP of this new chapter will be released this year, in 2022.

MIIA is also a jury member in the Nordic Natural Beauty Awards, for the second year-round, so in this podcast episode, we’ll dive into the world of the beauty industry, and talk about how it’s also been dictating beauty standards in the music industry. MIIA shares also her experience in getting to know the best Nordic natural cosmetics.

Nordic Natural Beauty Awards is a yearly online awards contest to celebrate the best all-natural cosmetics made across the Nordic and Scandinavian countries – Denmark, Finland, Iceland, Norway, and Sweden.

The nominated cosmetics are tested and the winners are selected by an internationally renowned Nordic Beauty Jury. The jury is formed each year of 50 Nordic stars coming from different fields, such as music, cinema, sports, and also fashion.

The yearly process goes as follows; The registration is open in the springtime. During the summer and early autumn, the nominated products are being tested by the jury members, and the yearly awards are always organized in October, ready for the holiday season.
