Amarillo, TX TEXAS, February 29, 2016 (Newswire) –John Luciano, host of the weekly automotive podcast, Motormouth, spoke with executive sponsor, Barry Henson of Ken’s Kar Kolors about the continued success of the Make-A-Wish Car Show in Amarillo, Texas.

“This is our 32nd year of helping the Make-A-Wish Foundation here in Amarillo” says Henson. “We’re hoping to have over 300 cars in this year’s show and collect over $70,000 for this great organization.”

“The Make-A-Wish Car Show has been a West Texas Panhandle tradition” says Luciano. “It started over thirty years ago with an old school car group; the Panhandle Council of Car Clubs, getting together every Saturday morning to talk about their love of cars.”

“This show is so much more than cars” says Alba Austin, Development Office for Make-A-Wish North Texas. “This show has helped hundreds of children with life-threatening medical conditions to enrich their lives” she says.

The Make-A-Wish Car Show will be held at the Amarillo Civic Center March 5 – 6, 2016, Saturday: 10:00 am – 7:00 pm. Sunday: 10:00 am – 5:00 pm. Admission is only $7 for adults and $5 for children ages 5 – 18.
