264. How to be productive and get back into a routine after the holidays

Happy New Year! Are you feeling overwhelmed and stressed already? Yep - I feel the pressure too but I'm not giving into the New Year Frenzy because God's timeline is perfect. Let's chat about How to be productive and get back into a routine after the holidays/vacation/time off/etc.

1. Take a deep breath - you don’t have to start the year on January 1st. You can have a trial week or a trial month and still hit your goals. Productivity looks different in different seasons

2. Get the house together as the priority - having your space put back together will make you feel better

3. Knock out tedious admin tasks - inbox zero, clean the desktop, close all the tabs

4. Review your yearly plan and select one priority for the next week or so until you’re able to fully get back into your routine OR choose to focus on one of the following: clients, company, content/marketing, cash/sales process or money stuff like bookkeeping

5. Break down your yearly plan into key milestones and projects and set up when things need to be done

6. Create your work schedule

7. Decide when you’re officially back in business which means you need to have the house in order and have concentrated work time
