Back in 1989, The Little Mermaid dazzled its audiences with a colorful, joyful, adventurous, and musical world both above and under the sea and it reinvigorated Disney Animation's brand. In this "live-action" remake, Disney attempts to recapture that magic and rekindle it within a new generation of spectators. Did they succeed? Why is Flounder a flounder? Why can't we see Ursula?
