Syracuse Orange Football secured a new offensive lineman in the transfer portal, Alabama Crimson Tide's Naquil Betrand. Betrand is a 6'6" 330lb tackle and could be a low-risk, high-upside get for Fran Brown's squad. Betrand joins returning tackles Da'Metrius Weatherspoon and David Wohlabaugh Jr. Betrand was originally recruited by Texas A&M in 2023 by now Syracuse Defensive Coordinator Elijah Robinson. The Orange also tried to get Betrand in the 2024 transfer portal.
