Why isn't former LSU Tigers QB & Heisman Trophy winner Jayden Daniels getting more NFL Draft hype?!

We are just about two months away from the NFL Draft and the first round is expected to be filled with familiar names and faces for LSU Tigers fans. Several mock drafts from NFL insiders at ESPN, CBS Sports, Fox Sports, and the NFL Network have both former LSU quarterback Jayden Daniels and WR Malik Nabers to be selected in the top ten. As far as Daniels is concerned, he is expected to be one of the top three quarterbacks selected along with former USC QB and Heisman Trophy winner Caleb Williams and UNC Tar Heel Drake Maye. But why isn't there more discussion about Daniels as a pro prospect? Why isn't Daniels widely considered the second best quarterback in this draft, assuming Williams is the first off the board?

ESPN NFL analyst Louis Riddick said it isn't even a question for him as to who is the second best quarterback in the Draft – it is Jayden Daniels. "I think people are going to be very impressed with Daniels as well as we move through the draft process...the way this young man operates in the pocket and some of the touch throws he made are sick." Could Daniels be drafted higher than anticipated and should he get more Draft buzz?

Finally, Wake Forest RHP Chase Burns had an electric outing in his debut on the mound with the Demon Deacons. The Tennessee transfer struck out ten and gave up zero runs in six innings of work. After a fantastic outing there is already buzz about Burns being "the next Paul Skenes." Is that fair?
