Former Golden Knight Jonathan Marchessault appeared on the Cam and Strick podcast and talked about a variety of topics including his departure from Las Vegas. He said he thought he did enough good things in the past to deserve a new deal. He said he was not asking for anything outrageous. He said VGK stopped at a 3-year deal and Marchessault wanted four years. He says he personally reached out to VGK brass before entering the free agent market.
