She became curious about whether data was something she could do when asked to help implement a new system. This led her on a journey of questioning how things worked and continually taking on new challenges. When doubts of imposter syndrome crept in after transitioning to data roles, she wondered how difficult pursuing opportunities truly could be. So when a conference in California presented itself, she decided to submit a speaking proposal without telling anyone, thinking there was little chance she'd hear back. To her surprise, they asked her to turn it into a full day workshop instead. This spurred her on to share her experiences overcoming perceived limits by asking questions without fear of being wrong, helping others see what may be within reach through perseverance.
