44-year-old man in critical condition after police find him shot several times in Mantua home

Philadelphia police are investigating the shooting of man inside a home in the Mantua section of the city.

It was around 5:45 a.m. on Wednesday when police say officers responded to a home along North Dekalb Street near Fairmount Avenue.

The victim, a 44-year-old man, was found on the kitchen floor. Police say he had been shot several times throughout his body. He was rushed to the hospital in critical condition.

Police are now looking for the shooter. Anyone you may have saw or heard something is asked to contact police.
