Rico Gibson (alias-Southern Emperor www.realsuperproducerz.com) started doing music at the age of 4yrs old in church. His first instrument was the trombone, and being a symphonic concert band student from his early years, he eventually migrated to other brass instruments and sat 1st chair throughout high school as a Tuba player. He attended Voorhess University, in Denmark, SC and Claflin University in Orangeburg, SC where he switched instruments and was a snare drummer with the marching band.
Rico currently plays "all" brass instruments, drums and piano.
Rico currently has songs on the Love and Hip Hop series, and on The Original Netflix series, "I Declare War" that's airing in July.
