Your Nightly Prayer 🙏🏾 Deuteronomy 11:8 Therefore shall ye keep all the commandments which I command you this day, that ye may be strong, and go in and possess the land, whither ye go to possess it;” DEUTERONOMY 11:8 DEVOTION Based on Deuteronomy 11 In this verse, God calls His people to obedience as the key to strength and success. By keeping His commandments, they would be empowered to enter and claim the land He had promised. Obedience is not just about following rules—it’s about aligning our hearts with God’s will so we can walk in His blessing and purpose. God’s strength flows through those who trust and obey Him. When we follow His ways, He equips us to face challenges and take hold of the promises He has prepared for us. Obedience opens the door to God’s provision, protection, and power in our lives. Take a moment tonight to reflect on your obedience to God’s Word. Breathe out resistance, and breathe in His strength. Ask Him to help you walk faithfully, trusting He will lead you to His promises. A.C.T.S. REFLECTION ADORATION: Praise God for His faithfulness to fulfill His promises. Worship Him as the One who gives strength to those who obey. CONFESSION: Reflect on areas where you’ve struggled to follow God’s commands. Confess any disobedience and ask Him for a heart that desires to honor Him fully. THANKSGIVING: Thank God for the strength He gives to those who trust in His Word. Express gratitude for His guidance and the blessings that come through obedience. SUPPLICATION: Father, give me the strength to obey You in every area of my life. Teach me to walk in Your ways so I may possess the promises You have for me. Help me trust that following Your commands will lead me into Your perfect will and purpose. PRAYER “Therefore shall ye keep all the commandments which I command you this day, that ye may be strong, and go in and possess the land, whither ye go to possess it;” DEUTERONOMY 11:8 Dear Heavenly Father, We come to You in humble adoration. Give us the focus and strength to obey Your commands even when it’s difficult for us. Help us to have a clear mind that is open to Your will at all times. We are thankful for Your grace and mercy; thank You for believing in us and always being available to receive our prayers. When we feel lost and confused, grant us clarity to understand the path You have laid out for us. We thank You for Your guidance and protection. 1 Episode 1287 - Jarvis Kingston For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.” 2 TIMOTHY 1:7 15:01
Your Nightly Prayer 🙏🏾 2 Timothy 1:7 For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.” 2 TIMOTHY 1:7 DEVOTION Based on 2 Timothy 1 This verse reminds us that fear is not from God. He has given us His Spirit, which empowers us with courage, love, and clear thinking. Fear can paralyze us, cloud our judgment, and keep us from stepping into the life God has for us. But through the Holy Spirit, we are equipped with strength, compassion, and wisdom. When fear creeps in, we can stand firm, knowing God’s power is greater. His love casts out fear, and His Spirit calms our minds. We are not left to battle fear alone—God gives us everything we need to walk in faith and confidence. 1 Episode 1286 - Jarvis Kingston He giveth power to the faint; and to them that have no might he increaseth strength.” ISAIAH 40:29 Spring 25 15:01
Your Nightly Prayer 🙏🏾 Isaiah 40:29 He giveth power to the faint; and to them that have no might he increaseth strength.” ISAIAH 40:29 DEVOTION Based on Isaiah 40 This verse reminds us that God sees us in our weakness and offers His strength in return. When we are weary, discouraged, or feel like we have nothing left to give, He provides the power we need to carry on. His strength is not reserved for the already-strong but for those who admit their need for Him. In times of exhaustion—physical, emotional, or spiritual—God is our source of renewal. He increases strength in ways we cannot find on our own. His power lifts us when we are faint and sustains us when we feel empty. You are never alone in your weakness; God stands ready to strengthen you. Take a moment tonight to bring your weariness to Him. Breathe out exhaustion, and breathe in His power. Trust that He will renew and sustain you. A.C.T.S. REFLECTION ADORATION: Praise God as the giver of strength and sustainer of the weary. Worship Him for His compassion and power that never runs out. 1 Episode 1285 - Jarvis Kingston And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness most gladly 15:01
Your Nightly Prayer 🙏🏾 2 Corinthians 12:9 And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me.” 2 CORINTHIANS 12:9 DEVOTION Based on 2 Corinthians 12 In this powerful verse, God reminds us that His grace is always enough. When we feel weak, inadequate, or overwhelmed, His strength is fully revealed. It’s not in our power that we overcome life’s trials, but in surrendering our weakness to Him that we find true strength. Paul embraced his weakness because it made room for Christ’s power to work in and through him. Rather than focusing on his limitations, he rejoiced in them, knowing they allowed God’s grace to shine. God’s strength meets us at our lowest and lifts us higher than we could ever go alone. Take a moment tonight to release your need for control. Breathe out self-reliance, and breathe in His all-sufficient grace. Trust that His power is working in your weakness. A.C.T.S. REFLECTION ADORATION: Praise God for His limitless grace and strength. Worship Him as the One who sustains you and works through your weakness for His glory. CONFESSION: Reflect on times when you’ve relied on your own strength instead of God’s. Confess your struggles with control or pride, and surrender them to Him. THANKSGIVING: Thank God for His grace, which carries you through difficult times. Express gratitude for His power that fills the gaps where you feel weak or inadequate. SUPPLICATION: Father, help me to rest in Your grace and not in my abilities. Teach me to embrace my weakness so that Your strength may be made perfect in me. Let Your power work in and through my life, bringing glory to Your name. PRAYER “And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me.” 2 CORINTHIANS 12:9 Almighty God, You are the source of all strength and focus. You alone grant us the power to be brave despite difficulties and remain dedicated to our goals. Your grace is sufficient for me, though I feel vulnerable and weak in many areas. You provide a way out from my troubles and equip me with the ability to confidently persevere. I cry out to You for help, and by Your mighty power You strengthen and sustain me. As I turn to You in prayer, remind me that no matter my circumstances, I place my faith in You. Guide me with the wisdom and courage to pursue what is good in life, trusting that You are faithful even when I doubt. In Jesus’ name, Amen. 🙏🏾 PRAY FOR YOUR COMMUNITY I pray that God draws me close to him and gives me the desire to be in his presence. Your Nightly Prayer 🙏🏾 Proverbs 30:33 “Surely the churning of milk bringeth forth butter, and the wringing of the nose bringeth forth blood: so the forcing of wrath bringeth forth strife.” PROVERBS 30:33 DEVOTION Based on Proverbs 30 This proverb vividly illustrates how stirring up anger inevitably leads to conflict. Just as churning milk makes butter and wringing the nose causes bleeding, forcing wrath—holding onto or provoking anger—results in strife and broken relationships. Unchecked anger doesn’t stay hidden; it produces division and harm. God calls us to practice self-control and to be peacemakers. When we respond with patience rather than fueling anger, we promote harmony and reflect His wisdom. Take a moment tonight to reflect on any anger that may be stirring in your heart. Breathe out frustration, and breathe in God’s peace. Ask Him to help you release wrath and pursue peace in all your relationships. A.C.T.S. REFLECTION ADORATION: Praise God for His peace and wisdom that calms strife. Worship Him as the One who calls us to be gentle and peacemakers in a world prone to anger. CONFESSION: Reflect on times when you’ve allowed anger to fester or stir up conflict. Confess any bitterness or harsh words, and ask God for forgiveness and healing. THANKSGIVING: Thank God for His patience with you and for teaching you to respond with grace. Express gratitude for the relationships He has restored through His peace. SUPPLICATION: Father, help me to turn away from wrath and choose peace. Teach me to respond with gentleness and patience, even in difficult situations. Let Your wisdom guide my words and actions so I may bring harmony, not strife, into my relationships. PRAYER “Surely the churning of milk bringeth forth butter, and the wringing of the nose bringeth forth blood: so the forcing of wrath bringeth forth strife.” PROVERBS 30:33 Dear God, We ask for Your guidance and wisdom in our daily lives as we navigate feelings of anger and desires for revenge. Help us to recognize the destructive power of our words and to use them carefully and intentionally. May we speak truth in love and use our words to build others up, rather than tear them down. We pray for the strength to resist the temptation to gossip, complain or speak harshly, and instead to cultivate a heart of gratitude and kindness. May our words reflect Your love and grace, and may our lives bring glory to You. Your Nightly Prayer 🙏🏾 James 1:20 For the wrath of man worketh not the righteousness of God. JAMES 1:20 DEVOTION Based on James 1 This verse reminds us that human anger does not accomplish God’s purposes. While there are times we may feel justified in our anger, unchecked wrath often leads to harm rather than healing. Human anger tends to focus on personal offense and retaliation rather than God’s justice and mercy. God calls us to a higher standard—to respond with patience, grace, and self-control. His righteousness is revealed through anger, love, peace, and understanding. By surrendering our emotions to Him, we become vessels of His grace and reflect His character. Take a moment tonight to release any anger that may be clouding your heart. Breathe out frustration, and breathe in God’s peace. Ask Him to help you pursue His righteousness through love and gentleness. A.C.T.S. REFLECTION ADORATION: Praise God for His perfect justice and patience. Your Nightly Prayer 🙏🏾 Ecclesiastes 7:9 Be not hasty in thy spirit to be angry: for anger resteth in the bosom of fools.” ECCLESIASTES 7:9 DEVOTION Based on Ecclesiastes 7 This verse reminds us of the danger of uncontrolled anger. Anger itself is not always sinful, but when it takes root in our hearts, it can lead to foolish decisions, broken relationships, and spiritual harm. Being quick to anger often blinds us to wisdom, causing us to act impulsively rather than seek God’s peace. We are called to patience and self-control instead of letting anger control us. When we surrender our emotions to God, He helps us respond with grace rather than wrath. True wisdom is found in a heart that seeks understanding instead of reacting hastily. Take a moment tonight to reflect on how you handle anger. Breathe out frustration, and breathe in God’s peace. Ask Him to help you respond with patience and wisdom, guarding your heart against anger’s grip. A.C.T.S. REFLECTION ADORATION: Praise God for His patience and mercy. Your Nightly Prayer 🙏🏾 Proverbs 19:11 The discretion of a man deferreth his anger; and it is his glory to pass over a transgression.” PROVERBS 19:11 DEVOTION Based on Proverbs 19 This verse teaches that wisdom allows us to be patient and slow to anger. It’s easy to react when we feel wronged, but discretion—the ability to think carefully and act wisely—helps us pause, consider, and respond with grace instead of frustration. Overlooking an offense is not a weakness; it’s a reflection of strength and godly character. Forgiving others and choosing peace honors God and brings glory to the one who shows restraint. Patience and forgiveness stand out as true virtues in a world quick to judge and react. Take a moment tonight to reflect on how you handle offenses. This verse calls us to let go of anger and resist the temptation to react harshly. Holding onto anger fuels unrest in our hearts, while releasing it brings peace and wisdom. When we trust in God’s justice and timing, we no longer need to hold onto anger or take matters into our own hands. Surrendering our frustrations to Him allows us to walk in patience and faith. In a world that values strength, victory, and dominance, God tells us that true greatness is found in mastering our own emotions. Controlling anger and responding with patience takes more strength than overpowering others. A mighty warrior may conquer cities, but one who rules their spirit gains something even greater—inner peace, wisdom, and the ability to reflect God’s character. 1 Episode 1278 - Jarvis Kingston Be strong and of good courage, fear not, nor be afraid of them: for the Lord thy God, he it is that does go w 15:01
Your Daily Prayer 🙏🏾 Deuteronomy 31:6 True success is not measured by personal achievements but by our impact on others lives. FRUITS OF THE SPIRIT ACTION: PEACE Find something that brings you joy (a favorite snack, a funny video, a pet) and savor that moment of peace. Today’s story reflects on Moses’ legacy as a faithful servant who impacted millions by obeying God’s purpose. It reminds us that true success is measured by the positive influence we have on others, not by personal achievements. STORY Bible in a Year: The Life of a True Servant Scripture Be strong and of good courage, fear not, nor be afraid of them: for the Lord thy God, he it is that doth go with thee; he will not fail thee, nor forsake thee. Deuteronomy 31:6 King Solomon once wrote that a good name is better than precious treasure and better is the day of someone’s death than their birth. What was he getting at? How could the day of someone’s death be better than their birth? I think Moses is an excellent example of this truth. Moses left a legacy of faithfulness, courage, miracles, and breakthroughs. His death marked the end of an era of freedom and connection to God for millions of people. His birth was worth celebrating since any child's birth is precious. But what Moses did between his birth and death changed the world forever. In this Bible in a Year episode, we witness the conclusion of Moses' journey. Standing on Mount Nebo, Moses gazes upon the Promised Land, which he will never enter. This moment encapsulates the essence of legacy and the profound impact of a life dedicated to faithful service. Moses' journey from prince of Egypt to leader of God's people is marked by trials, triumphs, and an unwavering commitment to God's command. Moses' final act is a testament to the power of vision and faithfulness. His story encourages us to leave the world better than we found it, not just through glorious acts but through consistent dedication to God's will. It reminds us that true success is not measured by personal achievements but by our impact on others' lives. REFLECTION Reflect on your own life's journey and the legacy you wish to leave. Consider the ways in which you can serve faithfully in your given roles, impacting those around you positively. Like Moses, focus on fulfilling God's purpose for your life, trusting that your faithfulness will prepare the way for future blessings for others. PRAYER Be strong and of a good courage, fear not, nor be afraid of them: for the Lord thy God, he it is that doth go with thee; he will not fail thee, nor forsake thee. DEUTERONOMY 31:6 As the Words of Numbers and Deuteronomy ring loud in my ear, I will remember that life and death stand before me each day. As a new day dawns, blessings and cursing are before me, and I will choose the path of blessings. I declare that I will not stray from Your commands Lord for in them I can find life and life everlasting. Because of my devotion to You, You will promote me in front of Your children. You will make public declaration that You have qualified me by my heart, and not by the words, standards, and accolades. Like Joshua, I will be strong and courageous! I will walk with godfidence because You’ve promised me you’d be with me. Thank You for the Moses in my life who have gone before me and have passed the baton into my hands. Let my life be a living memorial to the dedication and diligence of the mighty men and women of faith who have gone before me. I’m ready… I can do this! In Jesus’ Name, Amen. 🙏🏾 Become a supporter of this podcast: https://www.spreaker.com/podcast/jarvis-kingston--1517583/support .…

1 Episode 1275 - Jarvis Kingston Thank God for His never-changing love. Express gratitude for how He has sustained you through trials always d 15:01
Your Daily Prayer 🙏🏾 Numbers 22:28 If God can use a donkey to speak truth, He can certainly use anyone. FRUITS OF THE SPIRIT ACTION: PEACE Make peace with someone you’ve had tension with—send a text or say a kind word. Today’s story highlights how God used Balaam’s donkey to deliver truth, demonstrating that He can use even the most unlikely messengers. It challenges us to stay open to God’s voice in unconventional ways and trust that He can use us for His purposes. STORY Bible in a Year: God Makes a Donkey Speak Scripture Then the Lord opened Balaam’s eyes, and he saw the angel of the Lord standing in the road with his sword drawn. So he bowed low and fell facedown. Numbers 22:31 God can sometimes speak in wild and unconventional ways. Sometimes, we must let go of what we think is ‘normal’ and embrace the fact that we worship a God who sent a fish to swallow a prophet, walked on water, and made a donkey speak… Embrace the absurd. This episode of Bible in a Year recounts the story of Balaam and his donkey. Balak, king of Moab, summons Balaam to curse the Israelites. However, God comes to Balaam at night, instructing him only to speak the words God gives him. Despite this divine warning, Balaam sets out with the Moabite officials, leading to an angel of the Lord blocking their path, visible only to Balaam's donkey. Balaam's frustration with his donkey's behavior escalates to the point of violence, yet through God's unconventional intervention, the donkey speaks, revealing the angelic presence. This moment underscores two lessons: First, God's messages and guidance can come through the most unconventional means. Don’t close yourself off too quickly to the absurd and weird events in life. There might be a message for you. Second, if God can use a donkey to speak the truth, then He can certainly use you. Stop disqualifying yourself for this flaw or that shortcoming. You’re at least more useful than a donkey. And if He can use a donkey to save a nation, just think about what He can do through you! REFLECTION Reflect on the ways you expect to hear from God and consider the possibility that He might be speaking through less conventional means. Are there "donkeys" in your life, unexpected messengers or circumstances through which God is trying to get your attention? This week, make an effort to be more attentive to the unlikely ways God might be communicating with you. PRAYER And the Lord opened the mouth of the ass, and she said unto Balaam, What have I done unto thee, that thou hast smitten me these three times? NUMBERS 22:28 When I begin to take territory on Your behalf, Lord, I thank You in advance for protecting me against the plots and plans of others to curse my life and to create chaos. However in the midst of Your protection, Lord, protect me from myself when I try to move on my own accord. Like Balaam and his donkey I know that You can and will use any sign to stop me from moving in a direction You do not desire me to go. Therefore, keep my mind attentive and alert to see the signs that You’ve placed around my life to protect me. Open my eyes and my ears so that I can hear Your message through different vessels. I decree and declare that I will not allow pride to get in the way of my protection. You have my heart, You have my ears and You have my unwavering devotion, now and forever! In Jesus’ Name, Amen. 🙏🏾 Become a supporter of this podcast: https://www.spreaker.com/podcast/jarvis-kingston--1517583/support .…
