Here’s a special New Year’s edition of the 14850 Happenings events calendar! Celebrating the New Year in and around the Ithaca area For your New Year’s Eve! The Ampersand Project is playing Grist Iron Brewing starting at 5. Deep Dive has Heavy Bone and the Good Time Zydeco Band, New Plants, Vicious Fishes, the Newman Brothers, and DJ Gourd, with music from 5pm-3am. Food from Babe’s Burger 5-11. Bar Argos and the Argos Warehouse have a dual New Year’s Eve gala with the Djangoners, Funk Knights and Friends, and DJ Tuggle from 9pm to 2am. Hotel Ithaca has a Viva Las Vegas New Year’s Eve celebration planned. Opera Ithaca’s New Year’s Eve gala is at the Kitchen Theatre starting at 9. And the Village at Ithaca is hosting a family-friendly free celebration at the Ithaca Downtown Conference Center from 9-midnight.
