Fresh off our Part One deep dive with Richard Lowenstein, we are excited to prove that the sequel sometimes can be better than the original. Somehow, we manage to recapture 1987 in all its glory, with further discussions about the Prague videos of “Never Tear Us Apart” and “Guns in the Sky”. We explore his 2019 masterpiece “Mystify” documentary on Michael Hutchence and get a sense of the man as Richard reveals new anecdotes and stories of their time together. Additionally, Richard shares with us the sheer difficulty of putting the project together with band management regularly blocking needed music to augment the strict telling of the story. With our much-loved patrons getting their questions answered, we are excited to close off this much-wanted discussion with a true “auteur” to the arts that is the great Richard Lowenstein.
